Walmart going to acquire Flipkart American retailer Walmart along with Google’s parent company Alphabet are expected to acquire 70-75 percent stake in the Indian e-commerce business and are likely to announce the deal on Wednesday. Global retail titan Walmart will likely announce on Wednesday that it would buy 70-75 percent of online retailer Flipkart for about USD 15 billion. Walmart will announce the investment in Flipkart in partnership with tech giant Google, setting the stage for an American business war against Amazon.com Inc in the world’s second most populous nation. The deal will likely value Flipkart at USD 20 billion. Walmart will also likely invest USD 2 billion directly by infusing fresh equity in the Bengaluru-based company founded by Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal (unrelated) in October 2007. OnePlus is releasing an Avengers-themed OnePlus 6 in India OnePlus has confirmed that it's partnering with Marvel on an Avengers-themed edition of the upcoming OnePlus 6. Just five days after it was announced that the video, which also features Daddy Yankee, had reached the remarkable milestone of becoming the first YouTube video in history to reach 5 billion views, it disappeared. The name of the songs were replaced by the words “Hacked by Prosox & Kuroi’sh,” with the words “Free Palestine” posted underneath them, according to The BBC. Salman Khan gets 5 yrs jail in blackbuck poaching case. A Jodhpur court held actor Salman Khan guilty in a 1998 blackbuck poaching case and sentenced the actor to five years simple imprisonment. A penalty of Rs 10,000 has been levied too.  The court earlier acquitted fellow actors Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali Bendre, who were named co-accused.          However, the prosecution said that it is unlikely that Salman will get bail today. Speaking to News18, the prosecution lawyer said the legal team will have to work at a lightning speed if they want to ensure that the actor does not spend a night in the Jodhpur Central Jail.
